Heading out on a cruise Dec. 27 through the 3rd and need info on diving ops and/or spots in Play Del Carmen, Montego Bay, and Nassau. Or if it is not worth diving at any of these places, let me know that, too. I will not take the cruise "cattle boat" dive ops, so if you know of any local ops that are reasonable at these three locations let me know. I already have a dive op for Grand Cayman.

Also, what can I expect water temp wise this time of year? Will a 3m be sufficient or should I anticipate a 5m? I have been in the summer to Grand Cayman and was totally fine in a 3.

Thanks All!

Check out the cenote dives available from Playa del Carmen. Caverns are of no interest to some divers and what it's all about for others. One good thing about them is they are pretty weatherproof and not a "cattle" operation (max 3 per guide).

The reefs are nothing spectacular but "worth diving" in my opinion. But I'm not very picky. As long as there are fish and coral to look at, I'm happy with a reef.

I've been out with Tank Ha for both cenotes and reef dives and can recommend them for both.
