Norwegian Dive Federation, I guess.

I guess my point is your wrote.

"I only wish PADI would show responsibility and do something similar - world wide."

Just took me back a step, that somehow it is PADI's responsibility to force people to actually know the law regarding the vessel(s) they operate....:idk:

I'm just saying that one could argue that because PADI has been responsible for 70-80% of all sport diver certifications the past 40 years, it's only natural that they spend some money on public information to help reduce the risk of accidents that could have been easily avoided.

I tough that was a regulation for all over.....always have a diver down flag whenever you're diving, isn't it?

Couple of years back We had a drunk in his bass boat going around the lake taking dive flags out of the water park rangers got him but he could have killed someone, people should at lest know a little about boating before they jump in one.

It's always amazed me you can buy a boat and put it in the water with no type of training required. I know when I was first learning to pilot a boat I was sketchy on maneuvers, of course I wasn't blindly cruising around at full throttle either.

Anything going on for Dive Flag Awareness day in FL? Isn't it Friday??? Or did the summer week one trump it?
