how much larger dimensionally is the mach v 40# than the 30#? trying to make up my mind between the two right now, if they're about the same external size I'll go with the 40#. I haven't been able to get any info from e-mailing the contact address on oxy's site.

The 40 is only about an inch larger in width than the 30. It's not a huge difference.
The Mach V 40 is still smaller in overall width than most other brand wings in the 30 lb. range.

ZKY is correct, I swapped a 40 for a 30 with another SB member and did some measurements. It is small vs. smaller, just over an inch in width if you deflate and lay on a table. Inflated, it is less.
