I'm a Fish!
Have anyone dived doubles (10l or 12l tanks) with a Halcyon Infinity system with a 40lb Eclipse wing. I know the wing has enough lift being 40lb, but will it work? The Eclipse wing is narrower than the suggested Evolve 40lb wing.

Both wings are 40lb

I appreciate any feedback.

I'd be wary of putting the infinity on my set of doubles, it looks rather like a single tank wing (skinny) and could potentially bend your backplate.

:rofl3:

If the wing has an OPV (it does) even though it might be rather like a singles wing (it is) the potential of bending your backplate is very low (it's zero).

The eclipse is sold as single tank BC. Upon inflation it would (like all single wings) press with up to 7psi between wing and doubles and likely bend the plate. At the least you probably won't be able to generate enough lift.

Why not get a proper doubles wing?

You're wrong. It will bend the back plate.

Interesting how so many people feel free to spew misinformation in suck a cocky manner. Curious to see if you're just as snappy with your apology as you were calling someone out.

Thank you ucfdiver, and indeed it will bend the plate.

Lol, owned.

As others have said, the Eclipse is for singles, and the Evolve is for doubles. The "Infinity" is the harness system that Halcyon came out with that is adjustable, but still a single piece of webbing.

It "sorta" works for really skinny tanks like LP72s (7" diameter). Its a bit hard to vent and otherwise awkward. Don't bother trying it yourself, its really not worth the cost and hassles.

I sold my Eclipse. When I put it on my AL80 doubles, it bent the bands and turned the twins V-shaped. The drag was unbearable.
