Thanks guys! Yeah, we had a big fish fry last Saturday night and fed about a dozen people and still had plenty of fish left to put in the freezer for another day.

What kind of fish are those, in the fourth picture?
 
All mangroves they look smaller i actually have a pic next to a size 13 foot lol.

We caught these from land in a little spot i know in boca chica by the naval base. Nothing but mangroves and jewfish which ofcourse we through back.

Nice grouper.. Is it a Blk or Gag?

Like your boat... thinking of getting one like if for the flats.. How you like yours?
 
Mike, it's a black. I don't see many gags here. Maybe because I only free dive and the gags run deeper?
The boat is good for the conditions I have here. But it's got a pretty flat bottom and rides rough when it gets over 2 foot chop. I'd prefer a deeper V hull but I wouldn't be able to get in and out of the shallow canal that comes into the farm.
It would be good for flats though. You only need about 6 inches of water and that boat will plane (with a light load) with a 50 hp motor.
