The cold water can be more beautiful than the warm. You probably have some really amazing diving up there. I dive in the cold waters off and near BC all the time. Don't discount your home waters

"I'se da bye that builds da boat", welcome from Calgary, actually transplanted Bluenoser who's family is originally from Corner Brook. I agree with you I like the warm water as well. I took the Dry Suit course but feel like the Michilin Man when I have one of those hateful suits on.
