Ok, so we went to Key largo last year for 10days. Me, being an 80s kid, always loved My little ponies. And most definitely the seaponies they put out. So when we decided we wanted to have some fun on our dive, guess who came along;

We cleared everything with the dive shop before hand and were careful to stay a distance off the reef itself. We scouted out a good spot on the 1st dive and on the 2nd did the setup(hence me in a wetsuit in the 1st pic) We had diveboat crew hanging off the back of the boat and other divers hovering around watching. Only problem we had was a curious barracuda who kept dodging in trying to steal a pony. Start to finish the entire session lasted 15 mins(set up and pics). I then took the ponies back to the boat and then went back down for the rest of the dive. It was great fun.

OMG! I'm cracking up! :rofl3:

:rofl4: Super job!

Too bad you couldn't have left them there for an unwary OW class . . . :rofl4:

Yea I know :) We're going to have to think up something for our next dive. Sadly most of those belonged to a friend who thought it would be fun to send some of hers for the trip. All the rainbowhaired ones belonged to me. I ended up putting them at auction after the dive. They came with photos from the dive as well as a colorful dive log from the dive center.

Most excellent!

Perhaps if you tied them together with montofiliment, and 'staked' your 'herd' . . .

I can just imagine an OW class being finished with their skills, and swimming around a reef to discover that!!!!

:rofl3: :rofl3:

Darn, my work computer is blocking your images as porn. :(

:rofl3::rofl3: I love it!! Thanks for the afternoon chuckle!

I want some sea ponies of my own :)
