Has anyone here tried the lakes up on the rim?

Water looks clear and cold.... probably not a lot to see. Who knows.

The only one that's probably got depth much over 50' is Blue Ridge Reservoir - at one time it was about 150' deep. There is parking near the boat ramp so that might be an option.

Woods Canyon otoh is like 25' IIRC. - I know we didn't need much line while fishing there...lol. Knoll Lake is also pretty shallow. I don't know what you'd see at any of them except some trout...

Depths for all of them are on Wikipedia. Search Mogollon Rim Lakes.

Got a drysuit?

Willow Springs is a good option. Its been awhile since I have dove it. Most people I know dove it near the spill way. The last I check Woods Canyon was closed to swimming and diving.

If you want to check out Willow Springs let me know since I live in Payson.

So has anyone actually dove in Blue Ridge Reservoir? What about the visibility?
