Folks,

Scubaboard is the only forum I've ever seen that listens to its users. You said you wanted the Thanks button back. Will you give thanks to ScubaBoard by helping out again?

The plaintiff has just pushed for and WAS GRANTED a court hearing in US Federal Court. Holy s***, it was not what we wanted to hear. ScubaBoard must now have to answer to this, and needs another dose of donations.

Times are hard; we all know that. But if everyyone would donate the price of a drink, a six-pack, whatever, to the Legal Defense Fund, ScubaBoard can answer this next round of attacks.

Will you all please consider donating??? One or two pints alone doesn't seem like much, but the collective will (and drinking habits ) of this community will prevail over outsiders seeking to shut down our discussions, using our Court system against us.

The signature permissions to allow HTML coding are set by user groups. Regular (non supporting) members do not have the ability to use HTML in their sigs. However, NetDoc set up the user group "Defender" that's available for anyone to join. This group has the necessary permission settings to allow the signature info. Although you do have to join it, it's not necessary for you to chose to be identified as a member of the Defender group for the signature to work. I donated first time around. Whether it was $25, $50 or $100 I cannot honestly remember.

Had I realised SB was intended solely for the benefit of Americans, I'd have kept my money.

Seriously Jax, why do you have to bring xenophobia to the table? It's not as though your fellow citizens are afraid of litigation, is it?

Yep. Scubaboard is US centric but many foreigners use the forum as well including myself.
