Hey Tobin:

I'm looking for a BP/W set up for myself.

I"m 5'9 - 257lbs (Solid, not fat)

I'm a predominate warm water diver, temperate on occasions, and cold rarely.

Exposure Suits - range between Board Shorts & Tee-Shirts (majority of the time) to 3mm & 5mm wetsuits.

I own a Henderson's Farmer John (but it probably will see very little action)

Can you give me both a single and doubles recommendation?

Thanks

Nesher,

At 5'7" you need a medium plate, that's the easy part.

With exposure suits that range from "none" to maybe a 5mm, and without knowing what you use for cylinders I just don't have enough information to recommend plate material (Stainless or lightweight Kydex) and I don't have enough info to make a wing recommendation.

For doubles the variables are also exposure suit buoyancy and cylinders. Most divers find they need different exposure protection for longer doubles dives, and steel doubles + wetsuit is not the best approach anyway.

If possible I encourage you to give me a call. 626-799-5078. There are several ways to approach this and I can walk you through your choices.

Tobin
