I am looking to buy a new set of SCUBA boots.
I know I want high tops not shorties. I am looking for ideas about brands that have the best sole/comfort as a shoe being worn to walk in.
Thanks:dork2:

Theres literally dozens of boot models out there, most of them pretty good.

I dont like suggesting particular brands because they are all good (actually they generally ALL come out of two major factories in Asia) its just the finish that you need to consider.

At the minimum I would look for both a toe and a heel cap, a full length ankle zipper, and most importantly as you intend walking in them, a robust heavy duty sole.

If you are going to use them to dive with as well, I would look for a slightly less heavy duty and more flexable sole which is easier to use in fins, as well as a heel fin strap protector (a small lump on the heel to assist in preventing the fin strap sliding down and off.)
