DS 125 misfiring

Hello,
My ds 125s are misfiring sporadically throughout the dive. I've recently checked and replaced all the o rings in the sync cord and it's still doing it. What's the issue is it a camera setting? Im using a nikon d300

There is a 90+% possibility it is the cord. You should be able to duplicate it by wiggling the cord near the ends.

Send it to Ikelite - they can repair/replace if the problem is the cable.

If your going on a trip it's best to have two.

Correct! Cords are cheap, lost shots on a trip, PRICELESS!

Had one sync cord out of the box do this exact thing. Ikelite had no issues replacing it.

My experience with this problem is, it's usually the sync cord.

Since it's both strobes, it's seems most likely to be either the cord or the camera. I've had several Ikelite strobes - haven't used the DS125 - require circuit work after a period of use, over the years. I've also found their service and prices to be good - they regularly upgraded strobes that I would send in, where possible, and did some things without charge.
