I really want the whole story on this.

He posted elsewhere that it's at a boat ramp. I figure this means that:

* there could also be a boat attached
* he needs his brakes serviced or
* he needs new tires
* he has/had a very wet girlfriend/wife... and I don't mean that in the good way

From experience, I know that an insurance company can pay quite well for this sort of work, assuming the OP has insurance and the vehicle is new enough.
