Went diving with some friends at Kahe Pt. today, spent most of the dive along the wall leading out to the pipes (macro photo day, though not many decent pics) on the way back my buddy points to this eel sticking out of the sand. At first I thought he had found a reptilian snake eel, but when I looked closer it was definitely something else - at Keoki Stedners site it looks like either the marbled or mottled snake eel - can anyone confirm which if either of these it is? (I'm guessing it's the mottled snake eel, but not sure)

Aloha, Tim

TIM!! You finally got into the water!

Sorry but I don't have a clue which it is, I'll leave that to the much better people at that. We need to go diving again soon, my friend.

Peace,
Greg

Hey Greg,

Yeah I've been out of the water WAY too much lately, I'm hoping today was a sign of that changing a bit :)

Aloha, Tim
