I was wondering if there's a list anywhere of the best after dive places to eat? For my typical dive sites, I already have a list of regular places but would be great to have a list when going to a new area or just to try a new place.

If there's a not a list already, I say lets get something going. Keep it simple: Dive Site, Location, and a list of places to eat.

Lets start with the first:

Dive Site: Shaw's Cove, Laguna Beach

Husky Boy Burgers
802 North Coast Highway
Laguna Beach, CA 92651-1426
(949) 497-9605

Good solid burger place, just down the street. Perfect place to get a quick bite and relax after the dive.

Been to Husky Boy....good eats.

Casino Point: El Galleon or the italian joint on the water. However, between dives the cafe next to the casino is great.

San Pedro boats: Hell, eat right there at Ports-O-Call

Sundiver Boats: Again, eat right there at the dock. Couple choices and both are good.

San Diego: Make the trip to Anthony's. Just make sure to grab some clam chowder when you're down there.

Heading down to Ventura from the North Coast next month for a trip on the Peace.

Where to eat?

Any Hooters after a good wreck dive :crafty:

Totally agree about Neptune's Net! There's something about eating fresh fish right after diving that just feels right. And Neptune's Net is iconic.

After a day on Peace or Spectre, there are several great places at the harbor. My favorite is Andria's Seafood - it looks like a simple fish-n-chips place, but they've got a much more extensive menu of fresh fish than you'd expect, and it's all awesome. They buy much of their fish right there from local boats. Spinnaker Seafood is a good choice, if a bit pricey. The Greek restaurant is very atmospheric, or for a casual fun time there's Blackbeard's for BBQ and blues.

Your Casino Point recommendations completely invalidate all others.
