I think this is relevant. New pricing on Olympus pt-epl1 and E-pl1 itself. UW case is now $470 and E-pl1 can be had for $400.00 on sale. This is getting into point and shoot territory. It is possible to assemble an E-pl1, Oly UW case, UFL-1 stobe, short arm, fiber optic cable, focus light, zoom ring gear all for about $1200.00. You will need to add a strobe arm but these can be had on e-bay for $45.00. So, for less than $1,300 you get a quasi SLR system with close to point and shoot portability. Even a Cannon G 12/s95 with UW case will set you back about $800.00 and that is witout extenal flash. Adding a Nano Flash for macro and arm will cost you about $200 so the total cost is not that much different.
