hi
anybody used a Panasonic LX5 in an Ikelite housing yet?
I'm considering getting this housing because of the wired ttl but also considering the Nauticam housing too.
thanks

Just announced 2/8 and sure they're not in stores B&H shows out of stock. If you want wired TTL to work this should be your best solution from one manufacturer.

what would you suggest to be the best wide angle solution using the LX5 in an ikelite housing?
what is the image quality like when using a wet conversion lenses such as FIX UWL-04 Fisheye Wet Mount Conversion Lens or a inon UWL 100-M67?
does anybody have examples to show?

The Ikelite housing for LX5 is not shipping yet. In a week or so it should be. Then people can answer your questions.

I would guess any M67 wet lens would work, as well as it used to. How well? We have to guess based on the past. Macro should be excellent. Wide? Unless they have a very curved dome, probably sharp in the middle and soft at the edges. You'll probably have to zoom out a bit, because most existing wide converter lenses were designed for cameras with lenses not as wide angle as the LX5 (many were for 35mm eq, a few for 28mm eq).

Again, a definitive answer has to wait until real housings are available, in a week or so.
