Leaving EMT job to go Get Dive Master/ Where to go?

Hey everyone I am currently a EMT and have been scuba diving all my life in San Diego.
I am currently thinking about going somewhere and getting my Dive Masters for a couple months and then coming back and joining the Coast Guards.
I would appreciate on any suggestions on where the best place to go would be.

Why not do it at your LDS? That way you can work and dive on days off. That is what I'm doing.

I agree, especially if you already live in San Diego...Probably a LOT cheaper in the long run.
