If you are diving in Kona, I can meet you for diving in Puako. That's only about 35 - 45 minutes from there. We can talk on the phone after you have you other dive times figured out!! I'll send off a PM with my contact info...

Aloha, Rick

Aloha, Rick

Here are my dive times so far:

Sun 15 – 2 Tank Morning
Mon 16 – 2 Tank Morning
Tue 17 – 2 Tank (possibly 3) Morning
Wed 18 – 2 Tank Morning + Night Manta
Thu 19 – 2 Tank + Rick?

You can do the Manta Ray as a shore dive, but the waters are rough right now. not a good one for a newbie unless you go via boat. I'll be doing it this weekend.

cheers

I am an experienced shore diver in San Diego. Can you give me more information about this? Where is the entry? How far out? How deep?

Is it just as good if only snorkeling?

Are conditions for beach entry better in late June?
