Im about to finish my beginner training class and Ive been looking around to see what jobs I could do with scuba diving, and I know some places offer diving internships, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I should look?

Try looking on the internet. Google searches will reveal such things.

In terms of jobs, there isn't a great selection and you would be lucky to find any type of free internship that took you from newly qualified diver to a professional level. The most common jobs are Divemaster and Instructor. These don't pay great and the most successful DM/Instructors hold a great deal of varied experience as divers. Commercial diving is another option, but I don't believe there are many (any) internships to get qualifications in that - the courses are very expensive.

Hi there :) We are looking for a trainee that has started diving and wants to pursue it as a career, to assist us at our dive centre on Antiparos, Greece, for the summer. Ideally he would be Open Water (so that he is certain that diving is for him) and available from June till September.
Duties: equipment handling, helping customers with paperwork, boat cover during diving trips, cleaning etc. In return we would train him to dive from whatever his starting level is up to and including Dive Master plus teach him about day-to-day operation of a diving centre, PADI standards, customer service, and many other aspects related to the business.
What we offer: all manuals and other instructional materials (including for Dive Master), all certification fees, use of all required equipment, as much diving as possible. Accommodation is covered, trainee should provide only for his living expenses.

I would recommend doing a search in the Thai section of the board. There are several great options that can bring you to varying levels depending on your abilities and desire. An extended dive holiday in which you can complete your advance/rescue training while seeing how a particular shop operates can be very useful. Most instructors work part time as the money is not the real motivation behind becoming an instructor.
