Hi all.

I'm currently shooting with a Canon s90 (Ikelite) with dual Sea & Sea YS-01 strobes, connected fiber-optically. I am researching moving to DSLR and housing the 5d Mark II.

I'm more than a little confused about how the strobe connection would work on this setup, as I have only ever used fiber-optic connections. I guess I have two questions, to start:

1. Will any 5d ii housing "work" with my existing YS-01s, or would I have to get the Sea & Sea housing (or different strobes)? What kind of cable would I use?

2. Can anyone direct me to a features comparison of the available housings for the 5d ii (e.g., Ikelite vs. Aquatica vs. Sea & Sea vs. ??) ?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Ashley
