Looking for ideas of what you use on a Tri Tip to keep from poking a hole in your dive gear when you travel. or use when on the boat. Does anybody keep a tip protector on their spear when they enter the water or diving.

I just like to see what you guys have done. Pictures whould be great also.

A tennis ball with three small holes burned into one side works very well. I used to keep several on my inflatable boat.

Make the holes small and then mark their edges with a sharpie marker so it is easy to allign the prongs.
 
Clear braided supply line (hose) from a marine store (or some HD/Lowes). About 12-14 inches. I think I have either 3/4 or 7/8 and the 3 prong paralyzer sits completely inside the hose.
