I am jealous of the camo, the gift of hiding in plane site!
From my hunting experience I have learned a few tricks but we have to use a shell with texture to fool our game.
Truly amazing the skin of the squid demonstrating the reactivity of the color coding as well as texture.

I agree with TSandM very much we really see very little of our world and to think that only what we see is all of it is a joke!
There is far more than what meets the eye!

i remember a doc where they had a cephalopod go into a tank with a black & white checked bottom. When it stopped and rested at the bottom, it actually produced black and white squared pattern over its body.
