Wonder if it's possible to remove the wrist mount from a VT4 in order to put on a Deep Sea Supply bungie mount?
https://www.deepseasupply.com/index.php?product=1334

I wrote to DSS but they have not tried to fit a VT4 yet, they suggested I send them photos with the mount removed.
Looks hard to get off especially around the buttons I'm a bit leery to break a brand new $1100 PDC.
Any suggestions are welcome

Also considering the Oceanic retractable mount but haven't read much good about the ease of switching between the wrist and retractable two

Thanks

A soak in hot water was key to getting my VT-3 out of its stock boot. Should work on VT-4.

As far as fit goes, my VT 4.0 immediately went in a DSS wrist mount; in fact, it's in the mount I yanked my dead VT Pro out of. So, the fit is great (it's been on 30 or so dives without any issues).

The hot water soak was key when dealing with my VT Pro's mount. For my VT 4.0 I just attacked the original mount with a pair of EMT shears because a) I never want to use it again and b) I don't mind a few scratches on a computer that's going to get beaten up anyway.
