Scooter lost at Minny

A call came into the AUC office this morning that a Sierra model X-scooter was inadvertently left on the beach at the bottom of the stairs at Minnewanka on Sunday by a group of Calgary divers. When they got back to Calgary they noticed the scooter was missing so they headed back to the lake but it was gone when they got there.

Scooter has been found. The people that lost it didn't think it was possible that someone in the scuba community would find an abandoned scooter and just take it without trying to find the owner. So they did a search yesterday in the lake and found it near the stairs in about 12' of water. They figure that it got washed off the beach and back into the lake while they were gearing down up top. A happy ending.
