Underwater Beach Cleanup in CT

This Saturday is the International Coastal Cleanup, a world wide effort to clean our shores. SECONN is teaming up with the UConn Avery Point Scuba Diving Club and local dive shops to clean up the Sound. This Saturday, the 17th we will be at Eastern Point Beach in Groton, CT doing an underwater cleanup. Even non scuba divers are welcome to participate in the shore portion of the cleanup.

Iv'e been working for the DEEP every weekend and holiday this summer and I wasn't going to participate in the beach cleanup as I want to go diving. This is a nice opportunity to dive and cleanup now.

What time are people gathering to buddy up.
