reefseal and I dove Folly Cove yesterday morning, in the water around 9:30am, low tide was around noon. My drysuit was in for repairs so we dove wet and WOW it was cold! 54F at the surface with a steep thermocline from 50F down to 46F at depth. Max depth was 40 feet, total dive time was one hour. We went along the left wall. We saw some huge red-gilled nudibranchs, lots of tiny sculpin (seriously, some of the nudibranchs were larger). Also saw a shorthorn sculpin, flounder, skates, one legal lobster, a school of pollock, and we fed the northern red anemone. Great dive and I was happy to be back in the Atlantic after too much quarry diving!
