It is that time again where we all get together at Venice Beach for some camaraderie, scuba diving and the ever present Megalodon Teeth.

Capt Rick of Man overboard Charters,Jamie of Aristakat and the Big Flat Top have again volunteered to transport us back and forth to the boneyard for a one tank/one hour dive. This is their way way of saying Thank You to all the wonderful SB'rs who have used and recommended their services throughout the year.

There will be a tip jar for each boat for you to show our appreciation for volunteering their time and their expertise. Please be generou$ as they are being generou$ for us.

There will be a maximum of 6 divers per boat. Times are noted below for each boat. Please be suited up and ready to go before your scheduled time. We have a gap between the launches for safety so there is only one boat on the beach at any given time.

Crud. Crud. Crud. Hermit Crab has something going on that takes precedence over the beach bash. Drat. Drat. Drat. I *could* run out and back, but that wouldn't be much fun, so we are bowing out. So bummed, was really looking forward to seeing everybody again. I even had a dream last night I found a really nice BIG meg!

I am sooooooo bummmmmmmed you 2 aren't going to make it.

I'll be a good friend and find that really nice BIG meg for [-]you[/-] me.

Gonna miss you!

Oh do you remember what happened last year? :blinking:

thanks gals. If for some reason, I can swing the trip as a short day trip I will.

Rox, you already have found so many nice megs, that you finding me some nice meg bling would be nice.

Unfortunately I will be out of town until June 6th so I'll have to sit this one out.. This is the second or third one in a row that I've missed - grrr...

"Hello" to the the gang that knows who I am - been away for a while after getting married and also traveling a lot. Where did all these new people come from while I was gone? <grin>

--Edit-- According to my photo album the last Bash I made was the 7th Annual in June of 2009 - that's depressing..

Brent

Well, unfortunately Paul and Camille will be unable to make it. So please remove the MangoMan from the 9:00 am roster on the Big Flat Top.

So, my next question is this;

Is anybody planning to stay over in Venice on Friday night? Wondering if anybody else will be hanging out at the NoTell Motel Six?

Happy World Turtle Day !!!!!

Okay, Mike and I have booked a room at the Motel Six in Venice for Friday night. Will we bump into anybody else from this group poolside?

And, I've been challenged for what to bring and share, foodwise. Between travel and keeping food properly climate controlled while at the beach, finally came up with a hearty Aztec Dip n' chips, that won't melt, wilt or go bad.
