FLX Extreme question

I currently own a TLS350 and am very happy with it. Within the next year or so, I am planning on getting a second suit and have decided on a Signature FLX Extreme. I would be keeping the TLS as a travel suit.

Anyhow, I am also helping a friend configure his first drysuit order. He is getting a Signature FLX. We're heading to the local DUI dealer this weekend to place the order.

Our question is about the available overlays. We know 3-4 other male divers with FLX Extremes and they all have the full-arm CLX450-style overlay. Makes the suit look great, (we like color). However, the catalog indicates that the full-arm overlay is only available on the female FLX Extremes, with the male suits only having a body overlay.

Clearly the FLX Extreme male suit can be had with the full-arm overlay, (we've seen 'em). Do we just have to circle that pattern on the order sheet, or is there a special request process? We don't want the order kicked back or anything, so any advice would be appreciated.

I have a new FLX Extreme SS and I have the full-arm overlay. We simply circled #1 in Step 4 on the order and ... walla ... that's how it came! I'm not aware of it being limited to just women’s suits. That actually doesn't make any sense. My guess is it's a misprint in the catalog.

Just spoke to DUI directly, and they said that in fact, on the FLX special production and signature suits, it CAN be had with either the full-arm or the standard chest overlay. I guess the "standard" models only get the chest overlay.
