Hm, my dry suit leaked

It is very easy to overlook the zipper. Being a new d/s diver I also was concerned about leaks in my d/s and thought I was closing the zipper. I mean how hard could closing a zipper be. I can't be that stupid - can I?

I did the soapy water thing looking for holes, found the leak - right at the end of the zipper I was failing to close 100%. Needless to say, now my dry suit is really dry once I learned to close the zipper and check it twice.
 
In regards to the donning your BC and therefore your LP hose to your drysuit in the water, that is most definitely not a problem. It was part of the drysuit training class - removing and replacing the LP hose while under....
