REWARD FOR GOPRO LOST IN ENGINE ROOM EXPLOSION OF THE USS MOHAWK

I installed six GoPro cameras on the USS Mohawk when it was sunk as an artificial reef. Camera #5 was welded to a catwalk in the engine room. I am offering a reward of $200 for the GoPro camera and or SD card. While I am sure the camera is destroyed I want to see if I can recover the file using forensic software. A camera installed on the crows nest produced a corrupt file but I was able to restore it and save it. Here is a photo of what the housing looked like:

The lost GoPro is not the black Golem Gear housing pictured. It was a plastic Eye of Mine housing attached to an aluminum lid or cap.

Thanks for looking and happy hunting.

Does anyone know if there are any local dive operators making any day trips out to the Mohawk yet?

Scubavice Diving Center in Fort Myers, FL is planning a two tanker out to little Mo on the 14th and then on the 15 they are doing a 3 tanker to the Mo, then the Pegasus, then a third location which eludes me right now :) call them to get booked!

I've place my Mohawk videos on a project specific site MohawkWreck.com to make them easier to find in one place. This has the sinking, diving it 3 hours after, and diving it 12 days later. The life after 12 days is amazing, and I attribute that to its fairly close proximity to the Pegasus and other material on the Charlies Reef site. A big thumbs up for the Lee County artificial reef program.

I will be adding more videos and pics as time goes on. I'm sure I'll be out on the Mohawk again before too long.
