Looking into a trip last week of August and dismayed to find this flight doesn't seem to exist any longer. Anyone know when they stopped running this?

It might be the same as what they do with the Bonaire flight where starting after next weekend they don't offer the direct flight for several months.

Must be recent. We used that flight to on 14 July and back on 28 July. In past years have gone mid August on that flight. Like Divemonkey said maybe temp slowdown. Hope thats all. Made it back in 4hr15min on 7/28.

American does NYC - MIA - CUR - that's what we usually do because if there is a problem, at least there is more than one flight.

Ended up getting a direct flight... from Newark to Orlando! Looks like the only diving I'll be doing that week might be in the aquarium at Epcot!

:)

Ironically, two years ago when I offered my kids (12 & 6 at the time) the choice between Disney World and Curacao they both chose Curacao. (They had each been both places previously.) This year, I offered same choice and they were equally vociferous in their choice of Curacao. I think they were more upset than I was to find we couldn't "get there from here" on United. (I have a bazillion miles, so needed a United flight.)

My 8-year old did try to console me... "It's OK daddy, we can go to Disney this year and then maybe Curacao next year."

Too bad, but don't knock the aquarium dive at Epcot - it's a lot of fun to interact with the kids on the other side of the glass. Oh, and swimming with very well fed sharks is kind of cool.

Yup - done it a few times myself. Got a great photo of me swimming up behind one of the big boys, taking my reg out, and acting as if I'm going to take a bit of his tail.
