Heading to Morehead City

Heading down to Morehead City next week, first time and looking forward to it. So a great lakes diver my usual kit is a drysuit and doubles, but I am getting mix info on diving the banks wrecks. What are the current temps? Is this 3mm wetsuit season down there?

Yes it is a 3 mm season down there. I will be going down there the same weekend. Which dive operator are you using?

I used to live on the NC coast and dove year around in my dry suit. During the summer months though I would just put on some woolies instead of full fleece. And no dry gloves needed!

How was the winter diving in NC? Bad vis? Less Marine life? Im just curious.
