Introducing myself

Hi, I just found this site last night. I've been diving for 12 years. I usually dive Monterey, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo and Hawaii. I'm looking forward to sharing information and learning from Scuba Board.

from the other side of country......I have been to Monteray Bay, it was about 20 years ago though and I did not dive then. From what I remember the water was cold and full of kelp, and then you had hoards of sea lions. Are they friendly/curious enough to be able to get close to them like we do with porposies and manatees?
