I know that traveling with doubles is a pain. I am scheduled to go on the cayman aggressor in Dec, and was very disappointed when i was told that you are not allwoed to dive on independent doubles.

Does anyone know of a liveaboard that will allow you to dive indepentent doubles?

I know a liveaboard that provides real, honest-to-goodness manifolded doubles, will that do? The MV Tala in the Red Sea (Red Sea Explorers). Wonderful boat, great crew, great attitude. We've done two trips with them.

I know Wookie's boat the M/V Spree in Key West and Blue Iguana's boat the R/V Kate in Key Largo are both doubles and tech friendly.

What strikes me is.. WHY?
Whats their reasoning for not allowing doubles?

The Aggressor/Dancer Fleet limit divers to no decompression and recreational depths, diving doubles would have a tendency to encourage deeper dives and decompression. Boats that allow doubles let you make that choice.
