Deco/Tech = Thinsulate as in Xm450 and Xm250 but will be stinky. Otherwise, the Polartec 300 is better with about the same thermal protection as in the Xm250. Is this the correct summary of it?

That would summarize it pretty succinctly for the way I use the two undergarments. I find the XM250 more comfortable, but do like the ability to chuck the fleece into a washer when traveling (keeps the dive buddies happier if birds don't fall out of the sky when I climb out of my drysuit at the dive site :wink:)
