I wasn't in love with the dive, but it was fun, I guess. The fish seemed raggedy and a little sad. Messing with people eating in the restaurant was fun. I was cold in the exposure suit provided, so what's new? I wouldn't get your expectations up too high. For me, it was nice once, but I wouldn't repeat. My son and I did it as a college graduation present for him. He was less impressed than I was. It was nice to have time in the park afterwards and we ate dinner there, as well. I agree that it is a bucket list type of dive. My money is better spent diving Jupiter or Boynton, or even Pompano, but those locations are very practical for me, so it is an easy choice.

I've done it a couple of times and run group trips there a few times a year. It's a popular event with my club members and have people who have attended multiple times. The experience of bring part of the show and interacting with the park visitors is the best part. You're part if the show as far as they are concerned. So if you go, have fun, play with the kids and be prepared to have your picture taken a bunch! :camera:

So, I literally just walked in the door from doing Divequest. We had a blast! My only disappointment was that I didn't find any shark teeth. :crying2: The staff was great, the fish were incredible, and as has been said before, interacting with the kids through the windows was the best part. I have been on the dry side of The Living Seas plenty of times but nothing compares to being in the tank. This is going to become a part of my regular Disney trips.

(As a side note I did notice that one of the staff diver's lockers had a Scubaboard.com sticker displayed prominently!)

I'm going to agree with what everyone else said, and say it is quite enjoyable! I really liked the behind the scene tour, and had a blast with the park goers on the dry side of the acrylic. Some of the fish are a bit raggedy, but tbh I think it's from old age. They're pretty darn big, and I don't think Epcot "trades" their fish often if ever.

I am doing it Saturday so I'll be able to tell you then. :D

I'll be there in June. Looking forward to it.

Before the dive, you meet outside the entry gates to the park, at "guest services"(??),the DMS come out, check C-cards, get size info, and then they bring you "backstage" through a side entrance, for orientation, the tour, and, ultimately, the dive.
After the dive, you are released into the park. So you are able to tour the park from that time until closing, without having to pay Park admission.of course, food, souveniers, etc. cost$$.
It's a good experience. Enjoy the dive!

Well worth the cost. After the dive and debriefing, before they escort everyone to the gift shop to buy the DVD, they will ask or say something like, "so everyone has a park hopper pass or something, right?! Because I'm not walking back to the entrance."

We had a blast. Ask the number of people booked in each time slot when booking. Book in a group with minimal numbers to ensure good camera time if you plan on picking up the DVD. We had two couples, one single women, and my son and I. The camera man had only 4 groups to shoot.
