Depending on the product, some manufacturers recommend freezing it to prolong its life.
I keep Aquaseal in the fridge. Helps a tube last for a while.
Aquaseal is probably the worst offender. I grease the tube’s threads to keep the cap from sticking. PITA.

The key to keeping glue good after use is to clean the tip and treads.... Make sure there is no air in the tube.... (glue should be right at the tip) Put glue bottle or tube in a vacuum seal bag and suck the air out... Store in a cool dark spot....
