i dont know if it is me but i have at last managed to update my icon to 3.06 and sort the dive organiser out....THIS HAS BEEN THE MOST FRUSTRATING TECH EQUIP i have come across, instructions on how to set this up are non existence i spent 2 hours on it last night and ALL this morning, mares you need to sort this out, i admit i am not a techie geek on the computer but i am also not a dunce on it and i have found this the worse thing to put on to my laptop

i would advise anyone who is a real novice with computers to steer clear of this until better instructions are out there

So I am a tech and I have to agree that there is a complete lack of documentation around downloading and using the software, and updating the firmware. None of it is particularly hard, but for someone who is not used to doing these kinds of things I can imagine it is extremely frustrating. It's not even easy getting from the main Mares site (which lists some downloads) to the special software.mares.com site. They really do need to do some work to make it easier for people.

Yes, I agree. Firmware upgrade is hard to find. I don't know why they make different download areas :-(

the actual computer is very easy to use, i have downloaded loads of updates over the years however, this one was by far the worse and im so glad it wasnt just me being dense, thx guys
