I was in Catalina yesterday 6/13/2013 and noticed that the lockers at Casino Point are gone. I was actually planning to use one for the first time and was very disappointed to find that they were removed. Are they coming back? These are great for divers that are visiting just for the day.

For those planning for lockers, you may want to consider using the ones at the terminal instead. I did not check if those are still there but that is the first thing you should see when getting off the boat.

Oh No!!!! I used those all the time. Hope they'll be replaced.

Hopefully Dr. Bill can give us an update on this.
I had never used the lockers at the park, but was planning on it on my next trip.
At the ferry terminal there are lockers.
On one side of the building there are several smaller lockers. The cost is $1.00 for each entry. (Bring quarters).
On the other side of the terminal next to the luggage transport/storage area are medium and large lockers.
These cost $4.00/$6.00 for unlimited entry. The medium would hold just about everything, except a tank.

I believe I was told that they would eventually be replaced with new lockers... but it might be on "island time." I'll try to check again today when I head down there.

Those are a long way from the dive park though.

I was also disappointed that the "new" emergency call station was out of order last weekend when we needed to get EMS to respond. Any idea if that has been fixed yet?

The emergency phone has not been fixed yet, but I know they are working on it.

Like the "island time" term...reminds me of home (Greece). We call it "Greek time" ;-)

Just started using the lockers last year after hearing about dive gear being stolen. Hope they get replaced soon as they offer some peace of mind while down under.
