My octo is 22" on bungee necklace. My primary is 7' long hose. I donate my primary if needed.

A 36" is tight except for the smallest divers, in terms of donation. 70 or 90 is a personal preference issue, but when I use a 32"-36" underarm reg, I use a 70. But then again I am not donating that reg, just underarm routing it.
beanojones, how tall are you? just for comparison since you are able to use 36" underarm. does it become uncomfortable when you look up? regular or flex hose?
i am 5' 5". thinking of using 36" flex hose.
