Is it the Great American Novel? No.

Is it entertaining? Yes.

The diving depictions are pretty accurate for the most part. After all it's a thriller/suspense/action adventure movie so a bit of license had to be taken for that seat-of-the-pants feeling.

Anyway, to a serious SoCal diver, after reading the description one knows that it's about the Humboldt squid invasion of late.

For those who wanted an easy summer read, please pick it up. For a dude that lives in Colorado, the author sure knows SoCal water and dive sites well.

maybe I am missing something here but perhaps the author and title would be helpful.
