Advice, please : My weight is well with-in Scubapro's sizing chart for the 5mm one pce. back zip. Does anyone else need help on dive day closing the zipper, or do I need wet suit school? The Suit Juice helps some what.

Common with many back zip suits. Especially if the have a spine pad built over the zipper. Now one that I don't have trouble with is my Wetwear Custom suit. The zipper is angled across the back and have never needed help with it.

Most times I can get mine(Henderson H2) without issue, but sometimes I need help with it. I guess it just depends on how the zipper is laying.

Since I do quite a bit of solo diving here in the Keys, I don't often have help to zip my suit. For my Henderson 5mm (used in winter), I find that it zips pretty easily if I hold down on the bottom of the zipper with one hand while I pull up on the lanyard with the other. Actually, my 5mm and 3mm zip more easily than my 1mm, which tends to snag.

I often dive solo in cool water and my bad shoulders just will not zip up my 5mm with thick spine pad. My solution is an added loop on the lanyard which I hook onto something between shoulder and head high. I step away from it and crouch (slowly and carefully) and up it goes.
