has anyone dove Lake Martin recently

Just wanting to know what the visibility is like around the the highway 63 bridge area of the lake. :cool2:

Yesterday when we dove it was about 7ft. But during the week is clearer with less boat traffic. And the lake is dropped about 4ft so far for the winter.

Be extremely wary of the boat traffic anytime of the year, there. I have had my dive flag pulled up by boaters, and been ticketed by marine patrol for diving with no flag (when I had one), and even ticketed for "swimming" too close to a public boat ramp. A day in court cleared up all the tickets, but the court fee was not negotiable. Do NOT attach the flag to you or your gear, whatever you do.
