I suppose, too, that it's perspective. If, for example while driving, you only watch the road ahead you see a ribbon of asphalt; if you look around, you can see Nature's bounty. I like night diving, because artificial light illuminates and reveals colorful sights. Then again, if all I'm looking at is the sandy bottom, I only see muted tans...
