I upgraded my dc1200 with flash and video light to the dc1400 with sea dragon flash, old video light (not sea dragon) and a flex arm. All of my pictures look good on the the camera screen, but once I upload them, they are all over exposed including my videos. I've set the flash to automatic, I've also tried manual flash to the lowest dial. I did notice that the WB when set to automatic stays in WB does not change to auto (not sure if that's the problem) please let me know if someone else has experienced this problem? I never had this problem with the dc1200. I've tried everything and have not been successful. Tomorrow is my last day of diving in cayman. Hope I can find out what I am doing wrong before then. I also emailed Sealife.

Strange, I typically have just the opposite problem (looks good on camera LCD, but then is underexposed/blue on the computer)... Go figure. The white balance shouldn't have much effect on it being over or underexposed, though... Maybe try setting the ISO to 100? And, of course, always bracket your shots if you have time. Once you get what you like, adjust your strobe strength 1-2 in both directions to make sure you get something you're happy with on land. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Just read this in the manual. Let's see if this fixes the problem
Picture too bright (over exposed) when using external flash accessory.
Camera setting not optomized
Select Ext Flash Auto mode.
Select “macro Flash” [Press the flash button] to darken the picture exposure level.

Macro flash mode only works for when the subject is inside a
foot or so away. Otherwise, it'll be too dark.

Thanks Sealife responded to my post on fb and asked that I contact them to walk me through the issue.
