For sale is a brand new, NEVER dove Ikelite housing, for the beyond-awesome Canon 5D Mark III. I test dove in shop pool 1 time, then decided to bite the bullet on an Aqautica setup (after a 2.5 year round of back surgeries).

I shot a 5D Mk II in an Ikelite for five years (see www.DavidPriceImages.com for those pix), and never had an issue. When the Mk III came out, I purchased the new housing, and sold my Mk II and the Ikelite Mk II housing.

The housing has been in fresh water a total of ONE time. Due to two back surgeries (courtesy of a texting driver that t-boned me), I never got the chance to take the new housing out in the ocean. Now, almost recovered from surgery, I upgraded to an Aquatica, but need to sell a simply remarkable housing, for a very good price.

This housing has built-in TTL, so just plug in your Ikelite (or other TTL compatible) flash, set to "auto", and the camera does the rest. For experienced shooters, can also switch flash to manual mode, with buttons on back of housing- without having to adjust flash switch. All critical controls are accessible on the housing. When Canon comes out with a new camera, keep your ports, as they'll fit any modular Ikelite housing for DSLR's.

I have the following items for sale:

Ikelite Housing for Canon 5D Mk III - retails of $1599.95 for sale for $1450, plus shipping.
Ikelite Modular Port Extension, 1.75 inch 5510.58 (never used) - retails for $125, $100 plus shipping
Ikelite Modular Port Extension, 1.25 inch 5510.54 (never used) - retails for $125, $100 plus shipping
Ikelite Dome port with Shade (shade has patch on screw hole) and neoprene cover - Retails for $400, $285 plus shipping.
Ikelite port body 5510.16 (attaches dome port, or macro port, to housing) - Retails for $125, $100 plus shipping.
Ikelite macro port, with GLASS lens, 5510.35 - retails for $200, $150 plus shipping.
Ikelite lens extension focus port w/ knob (use with various lenses) 5510.75 - retails for $175, $140 plus shipping.
Ports include zoom gears.

Will make a package deal on ALL OF the above, if you buy everything (take another 5% off, plus free shipping to anywhere in the US). Don't bother with low-ball numbers, as the housing is brand new. If you want to make a legitimate offer, please do so.

This housing and ports will allow you to shoot macro (with 100mm), wide angle (with Canon 17-40, 15mm fisheye, Tokina 10-17, 8-15mm, etc.), as well as many other combinations with the modular extensions.

I recently purchase the dome port listed in this ad from David Price.

The item was not as described and was more damaged than originally stated.
He claims that it is my problem that the box was crushed during shipment, he obviously did not place any insurance on the item before shipping and did a very poor job of describing the damage to the shade.
The shade is split in half as shown in this picture:

The original add said it was patched, I asked for more pictures he refused and said the one posted showed the repair/damage. On good faith I trusted him and unfortunately for me according to him "My responsibility ended when I shipped the as-described product."

This is the kind of person you will be dealing with, one that has no concern about anything he has sold as soon as he hands it off to the post office. Be VERY cautious dealing with him and purchasing anything from him. He packaged the dome poorly and the shade arrived in worse condition than was stated in the original add, he refuses to work with me on it or take the items back and refund my money. He has no interest in resolving this situation other to say that it is my problem.

buyer beware.

First of all, this item sold on Wetpixel, not here. The buyer mis-states so many items, it is troublesome.

More importantly, it was disclosed there was a patch on the shade IN THE POST. Subsequent PM's from the person, agove, reiterated that.

Dome/shade sold on Wetpixel. Buyer apparently attempted for further modify and removed the pristine patch (that was disclosed in the posting; please see second photo of dome, the patch is on the right side of the picture, and looks nothing like what the buyer has now posted).

Buyer tries to extort another $50 (on top of $35 already given) for a new shade (that is $100 new), for a clearly stated used and patched part. I don't understand why an item is sold as used, and is clearly described as having a patch, now has a whiner. Further, the guy asks me to falsify customs forms for him.

In over 200 online sales, I have zero complaints. Such whining does not belong here, and his blatant attempts to extort money give a bad name to online selling.

This is a case in which someone buys something, and simply tries to extort money for a clearly described item.
