Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Pensacola Diving 11-13 Oct.

My son and I are going to be in Orange Beach this weekend (11-13 Oct). All the local dive operations seem to be tied up with the Lionfish tournament this weekend. I've been searching for some good shore dives in the area. Anyone have any ideas? Looks like the tides aren't good for doing the Jetties, high tide isn't till late at night. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

In Pensacola if you want a really easy really shallow (snorkeling depth) dive, I hear that Park East can be nice. My brother just moved down there, so I'll see what he can find out for me. I have been looking at this site to make a list of places I want to dive before he moves: http://www.scubashackpensacola.com/dive_sites.htm

Some of those are shore dives. and some aren't.
