If you're at all interested in a liveaboard for one of those weeks - T/C Explorer - which I also recommend often - only has availability Nov 22-29. With thanks to Mike Southard - here's what that trip looks like.

IDK shore based dive operators on Provo except I've seen Dive Provo and Caicos Adventures mentioned in http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/greater-caribbean-bermuda/

I'd also point out that Explorer has ONE cabin currently remaining on their Saba/St. Kitts trip Nov. 29-Dec 6. For $999. That's $1000 off. Explorer Ventures Liveaboard Diving: Specials

You fly into St. Maarten and out of St. Kitts. Check flights here: Matrix - ITA Software

My favorite video from Saba - not my work:

Thank you!! Which dive operator would you recommend for T&C?
I may spend ~2 wks there.
I have only been on the T & C Aggressor and they are still the best overall crew of the 17 liveboard boats that I have been. But the boat itself is good rather than excellent.
If you plan to spend two weeks there, why don't you do both liveaboards? Unless I am mistaken, the T & C Explorer also does a Saturday to Saturday cruise?

For a start, most Caribbean destinations will be out of their hurricane seasons by late November and places like The Bahamas and Cozumel come into consideration.

Since that is now the current forecast here, and also since this thread is leaning towards a November Liveaboard in the Turks & Caicos...
maybe throw a few bucks at "trip interruption insurance"?

Who knows? Maybe Al Gore is wrong. Might be a warm, calm, tranquil time of year. I could win the lottery. Gonna happen. November in the Bahamas is not where I would lay down my bets.

Remember- the classic Caribbean Hurricane Season also is book-ended by Tropical Storm Season. In terms of diving, the distinction is nebulous. You're done, either way.

if you are looking for a place to dive in the winter time i would recomend the springs in florida they are 72 degrees year round there is gennie springs devils den blue grada manatee springs i went there in late december last year and made dives in a 3 mil
