Hello, all! I am an American, but fluent in Spanish, German AND English. I would love to have somewhere to go meet people and (possibly) work with them. Any suggestions? Offers? Tales of caution..?

Working in the diving industry usually means having professional-level certifications. You may be able to find work in a retail shop somewhere. German is a big diving language but IME there is not much demand for Spanish outside of Spanish speaking countries where it is useful for communication with other staff. The Spanish do dive... but not to the extent of the Germans.

This is my experience having worked in Maldives, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, NZ and Egypt.
